Peanut Butter and Chicken Dog Biscuits

As the title of this blog suggests, I have two dogs. I love nothing better than spoiling my two boys and making them dog treats when I can. This recipe is easy and quick to make and trust me, if you have dogs, they will love it!

Peanut Butter and Chicken Dog Biscuits

Makes: 18 biscuits
Ingredients:
280g wholemeal flour
1 tbs baking powder
15og peanut butter
1 cup of shredded bbq chicken (cooked)
1 cup of low fat milk

Directions:
*Preheat oven to 180˚c and line a baking tray with baking paper

In a medium bowl stir together the flour and baking powder and leave to one side.

In another bowl, mix together the peanut butter and milk. Add to this bowl the flour mixture and the cooked chicken, stir until the mixture comes together. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth.

Roll dough out to 1 cm thickness and cut into shapes using a biscuits cutter. Place onto your prepared baking tray, leaving a 2cm gap.

Bake for approx 20 minutes, or until biscuits are lightly browned. Place on a wire rack to cool and then let your dogs enjoy.
